Government 'flush' Rp 2.5 T for Papua and West Papua Infrastructure

The government allocated special autonomy fund of Rp 16.2 trillion in the 2014 draft, up to Rp 2.7 trillion from the budget state budget in 2013. The fund is allocated to each province of Papua, West Papua and Aceh.

Otonami of special funds, there will be a budget for the acceleration of development in Papua and West Papua.

"For the provinces of Papua and West Papua are also allocated additional infrastructure budget of Rp 2.5 trillion," the president said in a speech event financial memorandum, at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (08/16/2013).

Budget for Papua and West Papua of which will be used to build and increase the number of road segments, from the south coast to the central highlands of Papua. It is also used to improve food security, economy and empower communities in Papua and West Papua.
